Winter will never end. Global warming? Pah!
-
Working with the Architecture of the Space - No, it's not .NET focused, but
in case you've missed it, there's been discussion on lately about the lack of women
speakers at tech conferences. Anne's firsthand observations from the recent Adobe
Engage event struck a chord with me, probably because her observations on the physical
and social space pretty precisely mirror some of the things that I was saying in
a different male-dominated venue (far left and anarchist gatherings) twenty years
ago. It's a bit depressing to realize that the same issues have to be worked through
over and over again in different settings. Anyhow, I just wanted to quietly put
in my two cents' worth by saying that this stuff is important.
