Twitter is pointless yet addictive - the internet in a microcosm.
-
Update: Response to BlueJ Patent Issues - It is good to see Microsoft doing
the right thing and withdrawing an obviously flawed patent applications, though
the cynics are already saying this is only because they got caught.
-
Adobe to Release PDF for Industry Standardization - PDF is headed for ISO standardization
(assuming the ISO accepts, which presumably they will). If those cynics are still
around, they'd wonder about the timing: right after Office 2007 shipped. (via
Robert Scoble, who doesn't get enough linky-love)

NCache - Boost .NET application performance in server farms
NCache is a high performance distributed object cache for .NET and also provides scalable ASP.NET clustered
sessions for server farms. Use distributed caching to boost your application speed as much as 10 times.
And, eliminate the use of sticky sessions or storing ASP.NET sessions in SQL Server. Instead, use NCache as a superior alternative.
Features include:
- Dynamic clustering with Replicated and Partitioned cache topologies
- Relationship management with key, file, and database dependencies
- Event Notifications in the cluster
- Many times faster than storing your sessions in SQL Server
- Much more...
