Lamb chops, yum.
- Advanced Installer 4.5 - Caphyon
now has Vista compatability in their installer tool, among lots of other features.
Both free & paid versions available.
- SQL DOC
- Red Gate has a SQL Server documentation tool in beta.
-
Resource Refactoring Tool - A new Visual Studio power toy to convert hard-coded
strings to resources.
-
WinXP SP2 IE6 VPC Image - The blurb says this is for testing Web sites under
IE6 but the description goes on to say "A VPC hard disk image containing a pre-activated
Windows XP SP2, IE6 and the IE7 Readiness Toolkit." How long do you think Microsoft
is really going to give away copies of XP SP2 before someone decides this needs
to be yanked from Microsoft downloads? Get it while you can.
-
Knowledge Base Server Beta available as CommunityServer Add-In - The Community
Server folks clearly see their engine as much more than just a blogging platform.
- CodeSmith 4.0 - New release of this fine
code generator has plenty of new features. 30-day trial is
here, pricing from $99.
- Announcing: RSS Monitor 1.0 - Free tray-resident RSS monitoring utility.
-
Windows Vista releases to manufacturing - Not sure I really need to mention
this; I think Jim Allchin personally phoned every Windows developer on the face
of the planet yesterday to tell them, judging by the number of items in my RSS aggregator.
