Batten down the hatches, it's Monday again.
- No, theres no ban on virtual Vista
- Ed Bott suggests that earlier reports (which I passed along) that Windows Vista
Home editions were not licensed for use in VMs were wrong. There's hot debate about
this in his comments. I've read the license language, and my take at this point
is that Microsoft's lawyers have crafted such a mess that we won't know for sure
until we get a clarification from Redmond.
- A sneaky change in Windows licensing terms - On the other hand, this part of the Vista licensing does seem to be
clear: you can only transfer the license one time. So if you're in the habit of
moving Windows from machine to machine as you rebuild and upgrade parts, Windows
licensing is going to get a whole lot more expensive. Or, of course, you could Just
Say No To Vista.

RichEdit versions - A definitive guide to the DLL Hell that is RichEdit, right

a good page full of articles and resources on .NET code obfuscation.
