Crashing e-mail applications are No Fun.

• Big day on the virtualization front: VMware released the fnal bits for their free VMware Server product, and Microsoft made Virtual PC 2004 with SP1 a freebie as well.
• Grand Strategy - Free (currently in beta), Web-based, multiplayer Risk-like game using AJAXy stuff and optimized for Firefox. I should probably lose this URL. (via dzone)
• TraceTool 7: The Swiss-Army knife of trace - "A C#, C++, Delphi, and Java trace framework and a trace viewer: Tail, outputDebugString, event log, and with Log4J, Log4Net, and Microsoft Enterprise Instrumentation Framework (EIF) support. This also comes with full support for Pocket PC development." Whew!
• stpBA Storyboarding for Microsoft� Visual Studio� 2005 Team System - Visio/Word/Excel tool that integrates with VSTS to help business analysts communicate with devs. Scheduled for release in Q3. (via Rob Caron)
• NewsHound - NNTP integration into full Microsoft Outlook. Seems to work pretty well at first glance.
• VistaDB 3.0 CTP - They claim to be the first embedded SQL engine built in managed code from the ground up.
