WheelMUD.net - Project to build a multi-user text adventure game engine in VB.NET with C# scripts. Far enough along to actually be powering some test MUDs.

The Vietnam of Computer Science - Ned Batchelder comments on Ted Neward's recent analogy. On the whole, I tend to agree with Ned; while Ted displays his usual excellent command of the technical subject, dragging in a historical analogy sure to inflame emotions isn't especially helpful.

We Fed the Entire Googleplex Pizza - Cambrian House is trying to popularize the notion of "crowdsourced software" with publicity stunts like delivering 1,000 pizzas to Google. Who says there's not another bubble brewing?
