Tree Surgeon 1.0 - This application for setting up a .NET development tree now has an installer and a GUI.
Absinthe - Automated tool to determine the schema and data in a database after you've found a SQL injection tool. Runs on Windows (.NET) or Linux (Mono). Ah, the power of software.
Xml2PDF - A .NET XSL-FO engine that also accepts other XML formats including SVG as input and produces PDF as output. Trial download, pricing from $49.

SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports: A Competitive Analysis - Brian Bischof digs into these two alternatives for reporting, in an extensive comparison.
The Atom Publishing Protocol (Basic) - After much thrashing, the Atom folks seem to have finally submitted a formal draft of their protocol.
Best Practices - Team System - It would probably drive Edward Tufte into congestive heart failure, but you may be able to extract some useful info from this poster from training company Developer Readiness Program, who have a batch of other Quick Reference Charts for download too. (via Ashvil)
Information Bridge Resources and FAQ - Darren Neimke is starting to collect resources about IBF for the curious.
Developer eLearning - A new home for online self-paced training from Microsoft, starting with a course titled " Windows Server: Taking Advantage of 64-Bit Computing". Their FAQ doesn't answer my main question, though, which is "what the heck is this doing under MSDN instead of over in Training and Certification?" Just one more reflection of the fact that Microsoft is a bunch of competing fiefdoms these days, I guess. (via Andrew Coates)

The WELL - Just a quick item to note that the Whole Earth Lectronic Link is 20 years old. Somewhere in those electronic vaults are rather a lot of chatty postings from me, preserved for a dwindling posterity.
That Indigo Book - A blog that intends to morph into a book about Microsoft's new Indigo technology. I remain a tad skeptical about blogs-as-books, but I can see their use as promotional and feedback tools. (via Sam Gentile)
