OK, we all know I've posted about a bazillion links here over the past couple of years. Judging from the millions of hits, you faithful readers have found that to be at least modestly helpful. Now, you can help me out a bit. Whether you're reading this on the Web page or via the RSS feed, please take a couple of minutes to go fill out my first reader survey. Yes, this is leading up to some things that I can't quite talk about yet. I will tell you that I'm not planning to ruin the site, OK? But I could use some data, including the simple indicator of just how many of you will go fill out the survey. So go do it now, and thanks!

• WebSurvey v2.6 - This is the control I ended up using for the reader survey. Free and easy to use.
• UltraEdit 11.0 - Latest version of this programmer's editor adds code folding, multiple language syntax highlighting in a file, and other goodies. (via AJ Finch)
• EasySearch - Component to add search to your ASP.NET site. Licensing starts at $99. (via Matt Hawley)
