prescription for fixing the company. Bear in mind that this was published in

What are the goals of refactorings? - Cyrus points out a situation in
which refactoring in C# might break code, and asks for opinions. I suspect
this is one of those cases where everyone will know what the obviously
correct answer is - and then be astounded to discover that not everyone
agrees with them.
