An all-laptop weekend for me...took one apart to fix it (no luck), ordered another, reinstalling the OS on a third...remind me again why I keep saying this line of work is fun?

• Access 2003 Add-in: Source Code Control - Fixes Access source code control (such as it is) to work with Office 2003 SP1.
• Direct download to nTierGen.NET - Free copy of a nominally $500 application generator.
• QA Replacement Application - Query Analyzer replacement for SQL Server 2005 Express.
• ActiSetup 2005 - Dacris is creating an MSI-based setup authoring tool with an Office 2003 look and feel. They're inviting beta signups.

• Inside Information - MSFT - John Dvorak publishes a batch of alleged e-mail from a Microsoft mole discussing the Longhorn to Shorthorn move in rather unflattering terms.
• Extending the "My" Classes in VB 2005 ... Just Say NO! - Mike Schinkel explains in apocalyptic terms why something that's technically possible is not necessarily a good idea.
• Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Deployment Guide - Useful info for those of us running too darned many machines on our test networks. Would be nice if Microsoft could stop shipping Word documents as executables, though.
