Reporter's Notebook: Big Hack Attack on Tech Ed - So, Microsoft isn't
letting people VPN out of the show. "A Microsoft executive later said that
hackers had put out bounties--she mentioned $50,000--to disrupt the show
network. She did not specify further." I have trouble believing that anyone
in hackerland has that much money to throw around.
-
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Andrew Conrad offers himself as the
whipping boy for the decision to postpone the ObjectSpaces ship date. If you
care enough to be peeved, read this and contact him.
-
Not that it
wasn't expected - Kasia sums up social networking: "Who the hell needs
an Orkut community for abandoned-former-orphans-who-enjoy-caligraphy-while-pooping?"
