Long hours in the garden (not as long as I'd like, though) are finally paying off, with the garlic harvest well underway and the tomatoes starting to ripen. I can't really share that stuff over the net, though, so here's some links instead.

  • CodeGen.NET is another three-tier code generator that starts with SQL Server databases and ends up with ASP.NET or Windows Forms front ends, with data access and business layers underneath. Demo download available or you can test-drive the ASP.NET output on the Web. Pricing starts at $389.95.
  • Visual Log 1.11 - Logs Windows activity and stores screenshot thumbnails.
  • CNET discovers the squabble over RSS.
  • Whoa! Novell has purchased Ximian. Since Ximian is the home of the Mono project, that puts Novell in the cross-platform CLR business. Very very interesting. Imagine a future where you write a C# application using an IDE from Borland, deploy it on Linux, and use LDAP and other enterprise services implemented by Novell on top of Linux. Who said competition in the software industry was dead?
